CSA Week 20, Last Week of the Season
It's impossible not to get sentimental about the last CSA share of the season. Our CSA is small group of 100 members whom we've seen and chatted with almost every Saturday since November! We've shared recipes, we've shared the joy of beautiful Miami weather all winter, we've held your babies, petted your dogs and most pointedly, we've been feeding you this whole time. It's personal and we get sentimental at the end. Thank you so much for doing this with us. You're support of our farm is priceless. We will stay in touch and keep you up to date about sign-ups for the next season. We've got some interesting plans brewing so keep your eyes peeled!
As for the veg in your last share, you've got a few "storage crops" to help make it last beyond this week. Storage crops are veggies that don't go bad in the fridge quickly, things like roots and cabbage. This week you'll be getting carrots, beets (finally, those beets are ready) and cabbage.
We're all proud of Chris at French Farm for pulling off baby lettuce mix up until the very end of the season. Enjoy your last bag of this precious crop until the Fall!
