This Fall we will be hosting a series of 7 workshops at the farm in association with our Urban Farmer Incubator program.  After receiving many more applications than we could accommodate, especially from people with little or no experience with farming, we've decided to offer the workshop series to a larger audience.  This workshop series will be great for people who are interested in the idea of urban farming, but have not had much if any hands on experience.  The nature of the workshops leads to group learning and participation so it will be suitable for a wide range of experience levels.

The workshops will be roughly 3 hours each, taking place every other Saturday morning beginning August 18th 2018.  Certain workshops will take place at our farm in North Miami and others at our nursery in the Wynwood area.  All of the workshops will be hands-on.  Participants will have an opportunity to try a wide variety of farm tools, plant seeds, harvest and process crops for market.  Participants also get a PDF syllabus to follow along with the workshops.

In order to keep the workshops intimate and hands-on we're limiting the number of available spaces to 10; it is important to sign up as soon as possible if you have your heart set on it.
