We use garden twine to do the famous “florida weave” tomato trellising system (http://www.webgrower.com/information/tomato_florida-weave-method.html) so when we saw these cute colored old-timey twine bundles online we couldn’t resist hitting buy, because well… if you can buy something cute colored and old-times, instead of plain colored and wrapped in plastic.. why not!

3 ply twine is a nice strength for use in the garden and while it will eventually rot (because we are in a tropical climate where everything eventually composts) it should last through the season and keep your tomatoes happy and in place. Plus, once you’ve got a cute colored twine around, might as well use it for wrapping gifts, and tying stuff together in a cute manner.
