Raised bed installation options
Our standard raised beds are made of pressure treated pine and are readily available in two sizes, 4'x8' and 4'x4'. They are both 10" deep for adequate root development. You may notice that these dimensions are very common for raised beds. Did you know that these dimensions are based on ergonomics? The average human can comfortably reach into a 4' wide garden bed from either side of the bed and access every square foot of their garden without over reaching or stepping into it.
The most common garden set up includes two of our 4'x8' standard raised beds. These beds provide 32 square feet of growing space each and we recommend dedicating one to kitchen herbs and greens for a weekly supply of salad greens. A second raised bed planted with vegetables like tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers is ideal because they require more space.

Both 4'x8' and 4'x4' sizes are available in double high depths. These higher beds not only allow for deeper root development, but because they hold more soil they also hold more moisture, helping to regulate the watering needs of your garden. The added height also makes it easier on the back when working on the garden or harvesting. They are particularly great for kids and people with large dogs because it helps to create a more clear boundary for your garden.
Double high raised beds are also available in two sizes. 4'x8' beds cost $1,295 each and 4'x'4 beds cost $965 each. This price includes:
- Raised bed constructed of pressure treated pine
- Woven bed liner
- Filled with our custom soil
- Perlite for drainage at the bottom
- Organic fertilizer

Sometimes wood is not the best look or feel for your garden. We really like working with these corrugated metal planters. They are made of powder-coated aluminum zinc which is super rust resistant and long lasting. They are 17" deep which makes working in the garden easier on the back. The rounded corners and rubber edging make them particularly safe for kids and older family members. They are available in two shades of green and a dark grey, but we stock the pearl white option on a regular basis. We can order the other colors for you, but the wait time might vary between two weeks to as much as a month.
Metal planters come in two rectangle sizes and one circular size. 4'x8' planters cost $1,125 each, 2'x8' planters cost $975 and the circles which measure 3.5" cost $665. This price includes:
- Metal planter
- Woven bed liner
- Filled with our custom soil
- Organic fertilizer

Elevated raised beds are great for balconies, terraces and pool decks. Sometimes the sunniest locations on your property are these areas and it's great to have a raised bed option that will have minimal impact on the surface of your floor. These beds are constructed of naturally rot-resistant cypress wood with rustproof aluminum corners and legs. The life expectancy of these planters is about 5 years because they are made using untreated wood.
Both 2'x8' and 4'x4' elevated raised beds cost $1,000 each. This price includes:
- Either a 2'x8' or a 4'x4' cedar planter, your choice
- Woven bed liner
- Filled with our custom soil
