Our edible plant nursery is in Little Haiti, on land generously provided by Earth n' Us Farms. One of our main goals for this space is making it very accessible to the public; its where we host propagation workshops, multiple seasonal plant sales and informative tours and lectures. It is located at 115 NE 76th Street, Miami FL 33138 and open by appointment only, please email us to arrange a visit.
If its just some quick advice or a few seedlings you're after, come visit us at the upper east side farmers market; we are there selling seedlings and produce every Saturday from November 19th through the end of April from 9-2pm. We also plan pop-up plant sales around town throughout the season, our event calendar can be found on our "where to find us" page.
If you are interested in ordering specific plants, placing a custom order, or in having your garden maintained or replanted, send us an email! Gardening services are totally up our alley, we can schedule a site visit or consultation or you can come to the nursery and learn about different plants that you can grow in your own back yard that we can help you plant or maintain. We also offer larger quantities of plants for sale at wholesale prices by order. If you have a larger garden or plant project and at least 3 weeks notice we can grow custom quantities and varieties just for you, which is a great option for saving money and growing lots of food.
When planning and planting your garden don't forget that South Florida's growing seasons are reversed; traditional summer crops like radishes, tomatoes, carrots, corn, green beans are not grown during the summer but rather, in the cooler winter months. Our inventory at the nursery reflects our unique changing seasons, during the summer we focus on tropical fruit and edible unusual perennials and come fall we encourage the planting of traditional western european veggie crops like tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, greens, and hardy mediterranean herbs.
The date for our annual Summer Seedling and Tree Sale has been set! Mark your calendars; Saturday May 6th and Sunday May 7th from 10am-2pm we will be opening our nursery to the public and selling tons of exciting varieties for your home garden. Check below for our official inventory list. We also sell organic garden soil, fertilizers and soil amendments, Seeds from Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds and Southern Exposure Seed Exchange, cover crop seed, and much more to help transition your garden from Winter to Summer productivity.
April, May and June are great months to plant fruit trees, so that they benefit from the heavy rains of summer during their early life, when they need extra water to promote healthy growth. You would be amazed by how easily and quickly your bananas and other tropical fruit trees grow during the hot and wet summer months.
