This Fall we will be hosting a series of 7 workshops at the farm in association with our Urban Farmer Incubator program. After receiving many more applications than we could accommodate, especially from people with little or no experience with farming, we've decided to offer the workshop series to a larger audience.
The workshops will be roughly 3 hours each, taking place on selected Saturday afternoons beginning in August 2017. Certain workshops will take place at our farm in North Miami as well as our nursery in the Wynwood area and some will take place at French Farms in Homestead. All of the workshops will be hands-on; participants will have an opportunity to try a wide variety of farm tools, plant seeds, harvest and process crops for market.
In order to keep the workshops intimate and hands-on we're limiting the number of available spaces, hence it is important to sign up as soon as you can!
