Our neighbor French Farms tried this variety at his farm last season and we all fell in love with it. Snapdragons are some of the few cut flower varieties that are actually grown commercially in South Florida, but we hadn't messed with them much until recently. They take a long time to grow and prefer a lengthening day (so planting after December 21st) but they are so beautiful and productive that they are clearly worth the wait. Like many other cut flowers your snapdragons with produce more bushy plants with more blooms if you "pinch" them when young. To do this, cut about 1/2 of the growth off of the plant once you take it home and transplant it. This might seem crazy since itll make the plant smaller and you might be afraid of hurting it, but many plants do better when they are "pinched", including celosias, zinnias, peppers, and hibiscus varieties like roselle. Also, snapdragons are edible!
