This product is currently sold out.
Join us on Saturday December 7th to learn about all the different ways to produce your own compost at home from "The Worm Whisperer" himself, Zarron Brown. Healthy living compost is the number one misunderstood, and often times missing, ingredient to a healthy kitchen garden and it can be made easily and cost effectively at home. Learn the basics of a number of methods you can utilize at home, from barrel composters to hot piles to worm bins plus Zarron will walk us through the key elements of compost, what makes it so special and important, how to tell when its done, and how to use it (including how to brew your own compost tea). How do microorganisms, fungal networks, and healthy bacteria populations effect the health and nutrition of your soil, your food and your family? Lets find out together during this inspiring and informative new workshop offering! Zarron will be building a test pile at our nursery for show and tell during the workshop, and there will be worms present for us to all examine and learn from. All participants will go home with a test bag of Zarrons worm castings to make compost tea with.
