“Cornitos” or “little horns” are smaller versions of traditional Italian Corno di Toro “bull’s horn” peppers. Orange Cornito are abvout 6" long when mature, productive, attractive, and, most of all, of superior eating quality. They make excellent snacks eaten out of hand, sliced into salads, fried, and roasted. They are widely adapted and perform well both out of doors and in high tunnels. These peppers were bred by retired Johnny’s Select Seed breeder and All-America Selections Breeder’s Cup recipient Janika Eckert. We are excited to try this new variety this season after seeing them growing in a friends South Florida garden last fall.
