Narrowleaf Yellowtop is a Florida native wildflower that stands between 2 and 3 feet tall on small mounds that are just about as wide. As the name suggests, the leaves of this plant are long and thin, topped with many clusters of small yellow flowers. These blooms provide nectar for an extensive list of butterflies and will also attract bee pollinators. While yellowtop can only tolerate minimal shade amounts, it is a tough plant that can handle some stress and rarely requires irrigation once established in your landscape.
