Cherry bomb is new to us but not new to French Farms, who has been growing it as his main red cherry tomato for years now. These sturdy plants are resistant to late blight, early blight, and fusarium wilt, which are all issues common to growers in South Florida. The fruit is firm, sweet and well balanced with nice thin skin. One extra fun thing about these is that their calyx (thats the little green β€œhat” a tomato wears where it used to be attached to the plant) is unusually dramatic and long, so they look really cool with it kept on. If you are new to tomato growing we definitely recommend sticking to cherry tomatoes since varieties with small fruit are easier to grow than large ones.
