The purple hue in the tomatoes flesh and skin contain anthocyanins and antioxidants which are good for us! Where the sun touches the fruit it will turn dark purple like an eggplant, and the rest of the fruit will change colors through the rainbow from red, orange, yellow and blue. Besides being visually stunning Indigo Cherry Drop are delicious and productive. Be careful not to pick the fruit too soon, they do need longer on the stem to ripen than other varieties. Plants are vigorous indeterminate vining plants, be prepared to manage them through the season.
