We were hired to build a garden that would reflect the families’ potager in their country home in France. Fresh ingredients to inspire family meals was a priority, with enough room to grow tomatoes, eggplants, lots of provincial herbs and a steady supply of salad greens. The land on the property is sloped in many directions, with sweeping lawns and a long winding seawall. The garden features 6 custom terraced planters located just steps from the seawall, assuring full sun exposure and a constant breeze which does wonders for keeping crops naturally pest free. Our team visits this garden twice per month, working closely with the household chef to harvest ingredients when they are in their prime.
