With peppers, the smaller the fruit the easier it will be to get a good yield. Consider trying Aji Dulce if you're looking for something to cook with, its a beloved ingredient in many Caribbean dishes.
Hot peppers are so versatile and easy to grow, we plant them everywhere we can. If you don't like spicy cuisine consider getting a mild type, or using them for medicinal purposes like making fire cider. One hot pepper plant will make you hundreds of fruits if its happy, and fun fact, peppers are perennials in tropical climates so you could end up having one plant produce food for you for years on end.
Sweet peppers are a great addition to a diverse home garden because they can grow in partial shade and can be quite easy to have success with. You'll notice we don't sell any bell peppers and thats on purpose, they don't do very well down here because of the climate & the prevalence of root knot nematodes in our soil.
